We’re excited to introduce our first RTD (ready to drink) release – the Ethiopian Yirgachefe Single-Origin Espresso (SOE), a small-batch coffee experience that’s sure to delight even the most discerning palates. This exceptional coffee is crafted from 100% Arabica beans grown in the esteemed region of Yirgachefe, Ethiopia.
Yirgachefe, the birthplace of coffee, is a small town in southern Ethiopia known for its unique terroir and climate conditions. The warm, tropical climate paired with healthy soils and high elevation result in complex and deep flavor profiles. Bored Roasters has carefully selected an heirloom varietal from this region to showcase its exceptional qualities.
We’re seeking support from generous backers like you to help us bring this dream to life. With your contribution, we’ll be able to produce and distribute our coffee RTD Cold Brew Coffee in the GBA (Greater Bay Area), providing a unique and high-quality coffee experience to coffee lovers across the region.
If our funding round is successful, we plan to expand our reach to the Greater Bay Area, including Macau and Hong Kong. We’re excited about the prospect of introducing Bored Roasters’ coffee to these new markets and sharing our passion with an even wider audience.
The GBA is China’s powerhouse, China’s Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is pushing forward with integration, with its combined economic output expected to surpass 15 trillion yuan (about 2.15 trillion U.S. dollars) in 2025, according to the annual session of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Congress.
It is the largest and most populated urban area in the world. The GBA—with a total population of approximately 86 million people—includes nine mega cities of Guangdong province: Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Huizhou, and Zhaoqing as well as two special administrative regions, Hong Kong, and Macao (Macau). Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen have been described among the world’s 50 “superstar cities”. Surrounding the Pearl River Delta with a total area of 56,000 km2 (comparable in size to Croatia).
